
LeeAnn Kanamu, MSN, NP-C
LeeAnn Kanamu is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for preventive health and empowering individuals to achieve optimal well-being through proactive lifestyle choices and medical interventions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and her Master’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008, graduating with honors as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Since beginning her healthcare career in 1994, LeeAnn has gained extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, Electrophysiology Cardiology, and Corporate Health. Her professional journey—combined with her own personal health challenges—has strengthened her commitment to holistic, patient-centered care that emphasizes disease management, prevention, and health promotion. She is a firm believer in the power of lifestyle, patient involvement, and early intervention as essential tools for long-term wellness.
LeeAnn is especially passionate about supporting women through midlife and the aging process, recognizing critical gaps in care during these transitional years and striving to be a resource and advocate in this area.
Outside of her practice, LeeAnn enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and daughters, where she finds both inspiration and renewal.
