Trevor Brackney

Trevor Brackney is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Having grown up as a performing artist, he was in the process of completing his first bachelors degree in dance from BYU after serving an L.D.S. mission to the New York, New York South Mission, Spanish speaking, when he felt called to another career field due to two close family members falling ill with major medical issues. This inspiration led him to further his education, this time in the field of nursing by graduating as Valedictorian with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Provo College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Dixie State University with a 4.0 GPA, and ultimately his Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner on scholarship from BYU.

Trevor lives by the motto: “To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.” – Steve Prefontaine. He can truly say that he loves his work and the patients he gets to work with at Integrative Medical Associates. Witnessing an individual regain their physical and/or mental health and vitality by getting to the root of their medical issues, rather than merely slowing down the disease progression through the traditional medical model’s approach, has been the most fulfilling aspect of his career.

When Trevor is not working, he loves spending time with his wife and two children. Whether it is exploring the natural beauties that Utah has to offer, going to local performing arts events or just watching a movie at home, they value and enjoy every opportunity to have quality time together.
