Feel Better, Live Better
Our approach to medicine has its foundation in your gut. What you’re consuming has a huge effect not just on how much you weigh, but how your body feels and is able to recover. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself if given the proper nutrients. We can help you understand what nutrients you should be getting more of, as well as which foods and ingredients you should avoid.
Weight Loss
While we are not a diet and weight loss clinic, we do understand that weight control is influenced by so much more than diet and exercise. We have seen so many women struggling to live on 1000 calories a day, working out several hours a day and still not loosing weight. Fat stores are essential for the body to survive and it will protect them fiercely if the body is not properly balanced.
While diet and exercise play a critical role in weight management, we also have to look at hormone balance, thyroid function, inflammation, sleep, stress, genetics, medications, disease processes, infections, and plastic and chemical exposure (particularly in our food and water).
Personalized Health Coaching
We’re here to help you on your path to feeling your best. We’ll work with you to not just tell you what’s going on with your body, but how you can improve – and get detailed with what needs to happen. We’ll draw out plans and be with you every step of the way.
Gut Health
The health of your gut plays a key role in your overall health and well-being. You can make choices to help your body stay on tract.
About 60 to 70 million Americans are affected by digestive diseases, like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). GERD happens when your stomach acid and/or contents come back up into your esophagus (swallowing tube) or throat. This causes uncomfortable symptoms like heartburn and indigestion.
